Matt Perry
Vice President-Operations
Matt is the CEO of Perry Ventures, LLC. He founded and developed Buffalo Square Shopping Center, located in Mill Creek next to Archbishop Thomas Murphy High School. Matt architected the business plan and developed this commercial entity in 2002, which was a heavily matrixed permit process to construct the multi-tenant shopping center. He is the owner/operator of the Buffalo Chevron Station and Car Wash, which is a 4,000 square foot part of the initial commercial entity of the shopping center. Matt also negotiated national tenants such as KinderCare and Grease Monkey. He thereafter negotiated long-term lease opportunities with Mieko's Fitness, Buffalo Square Dental, Dance Elite, Miyako's Teriyaki, and Buffalo Square Taekwondo.
Matt was able to achieve a zero vacancy during the difficult economy, which highly affected the retail sector. He lowered rates to attract proven tentants by completing and providing extensive business forecasting and market analysis to commensurate with local demographics and commercial needs.
Matt has lived in the Silverlake/Snohomish area since 1980. He went to Snohohomish High School, where he played Varsity Soccer all four years. Matt was also heavily involved in the Premier Development Soccer Program, playing for District and State teams. Matt graduated from the University of Washington with a Liberal Arts Degree in 1998. He is very active in the community with his wife and two sons.
